Club Affiliation

Club Coaches/Owners may affiliate their club to the IAWA. Only affiliated clubs can avail of IAWA Public Liability Insurance.

Firstly, the main Coach/Club owner must be a member of the IAWA. When you log into your account on the website, click on the tab at the top called ‘Clubs’. This will direct you to the Club Affiliation Page where you can fill out your club details and pay the appropriate fees

€100 Club Affiliation Fee
€250 Additional Public Liability Insurance

Affiliation is based on the calendar year and fees are due on the 1st January each year. Whilst membership is compulsory for coaches, competitors and officials, the IAWA welcomes and encourages membership from any person seeking to demonstrate support for the Association. All clubs have equal opportunity to participate in moulding the structure of their respective region and in turn have representation of their club on the IAWA Management Committee. Clubs must have their coaches trained up to at least Level 1 under the IAWA Coaching Training Programme within the first year from affiliation.
